175 Nirankari devotees donate blood during COVID-19


Chandigarh, (Aditi): With the guidance and blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organised a Blood Donation Camp at Sector 30-A, amidst the heat and Covid-19, with all precautions, in which 175 devotees donated blood.

The camp was inaugurated by Smt. Rajbala Malik, Mayor, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. She said during the inaugural that Sant Nirankari Mission has supported several families through its food and ration distribution drives during the Covid-19 pandemic, contributing selflessly towards social welfare, and continues to do so today also by the way of this Blood Donation Camp, which is truly commendable.

Shri Shubhkaran Ji, Up Mukhya Sanchalak, Sant Nirankari Sewadal, who was present on the drive said that where the world is fighting this deadly pandemic, Sant Nirankari Mission is working towards the cause of welfare of the humanity by fulfilling the shortage of blood in blood banks. Furthermore, the Mission is continuously and selflessly working towards providing food and rations to families in need, world over.

Zonal Incharge of Chandigarh zone Shri K.K Kashyap Ji said that the blood donation camp was called for by Blood Bank P.G.I, Chandigarh and Govt Multispecialty Hospital Sector 16. And this is only one welfare activity among many others undertaken by Sant Nirankari Mission, like plantation drives and cleanliness drives.

On this camp, also present were Mukhis Sector 45 area Shri N.K Gupta Ji, Sector 15 area Shri S.S Banga Ji, Sector 40 area Shri Pawan Kumar Ji.

Sanyojak Shri Navneet Pathak Ji expressed gratitude to Smt. Rajbala Malik Ji and to the team of doctors. The camp culminated successfully with the blessings of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj.

The team of 20 doctors from P.G.I Chandigarh was headed by Dr. Suchet Sachdev, Assistant Professor, Blood Bank, and Dr. Simarjeet Kaur headed a team of 7 doctors from Govt Multi-specialty Hospital Sector 16. To this, Dr. Sachdev mentioned that the devotees, while practicing social distancing successfully, donated blood with complete devotion.
