2813 students grab opportunity during 6th Mega State level Job Fair

Chandigarh (Gurpreet) Desh Bhagat University in collaboration with the District Bureau of Employment generation and training office, Fatehgarh Sahib organized 6th State Level Job Fair under Punjab Ghar Ghar Karobar & Rozgar Mission Job Fest for UG/PG/Grad./PG/ITIs/Diploma courses to meet their manpower requirements.
2813 students were selected by various companies for employment and Training.
The participating companies Reliance Jio, Hariom technologies, HDFC Bank ,CW International, Yuva Group, Pukhraj, LIC, CSC, Teleperformance, Atomy India,Modern Automotive Ltd,Active Clothing, Raj Steel,Tiwana Oil Pvt. limited,Pagro Frozen Foods Ltd,Nidhi Steel,Rosha Alloys Pvt. limited,Sharada Alloys,Van Mitra,Bharti Axa,Royal Concept,Punjab Agro,Willowood Crop,Atomy India,Blue Chip,Infowiz,Malket Agro etc.offered hefty salary packages with incentives to the students. The placement process comprised of four rounds – Group Discussion, Quiz, Personal interview and Final Round
The parents and students were delighted to get job offers when on the contrary number of people have lost jobs during COVID times.

Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor, said, “Till now we have organized a total of 30 plus mega job fairs and DBU alumni are working across the world. “
