8th Convocation 2021 of Desh Bhagat University Held, 600 students were awarded Degree

We shall adopt a positive attitude towards life: Dr. Zora Singh

Chandigarh (Gurpreet) The 8th Convocation of Desh Bhagat University was held at Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Auditorium. About 600 degrees of Ph.D, M.Phil, Masters and Graduation, were awarded. Chief Guest Sh. Ramdas Athawale, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India joined the occasion through online mode. University Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and other respected guests were welcomed by President Dr. Sandeep Singh.

Chief Guest Sh. Ramdas Athawale, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India said that the future depends upon the dreams of the young generation and it is their chance to go and fulfill their dreams. He congratulated the students and inspired them to stay away from social evils and work for the development of the nation.

Addressing the gathering of guests and students, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh told the students that this is a special moment in your life after which you have to get involved in one of life's important struggles and contribute to the progress of the country. He said that we should adopt a positive attitude towards life so that we can fulfill our and our parent’s dreams.

Pro Chancellor Dr. Tejinder Kaur gave best wishes to students for their bright future. She shared outstanding contribution of Desh Bhagat University in various fields.

On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor of University Dr. Shalini Gupta read the academic report and highlighted the achievements of the varsity.
