AAP playing cheap politics in name of health services

BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh took strong exception to the AAP for the "skewed health approach"that the Bhagwant Singh Mann government has introduced in Punjab by opening "mohalla clinics".

He said instead of strengthening the already existing health infrastructure in the state the AAP government was only politicising the health services and making a political use of the state exchequer by naming the government health clinics as Aam Aadmi clinics.

Ïnstead of opening clinics in the party's name , the AAP government should have diverted funds for improving the health facilities in already existing more than 500 primary health centres and 64 government hospitals in the state where basic facilities of medicines and medical care have been lacking miserably.

He said as against 4400 posts of doctors in the state more than half of them have been lying vacant causing a big problem in improving health services in the state, mostly in the rural areas.
