Chandigarh: The Prem Sarita Sarvahitkari Model School Maloya held its annual function at the local community center, graced by the presence of former state president of BJP, Sanjay Tandon, as the chief guest. The event commenced with the enchanting rendition of Saraswati Vandana by the second-grade students. The gathering saw enthusiastic participation from both students and parents, who cheered on the various presentations showcased by the children. During the event, Sanjay Tandon, the former state president of Chandigarh BJP and a senior leader, took center stage as the chief guest. School principal Priyanka Sharma delivered the annual school report, emphasizing that the annual function aimed to boost the confidence of every student by providing them with a platform to showcase their talents. Sharma highlighted the commitment of Vidya Bharti to impart knowledge to all students.
The students stole the show with captivating performances of Punjabi and Haryanvi dances, leaving the audience enthralled. Sanjay Tandon, the special guest for the evening, recognized and honored students who had excelled in various school activities.
