Arabian nights, freshers @ AIHM 2023

Dr Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management (an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Govt. Of India) thrived with happiness as institute celebrated its Fresher’s Party to welcome the fresh batch of B.Sc. and Diploma students. The college auditorium was decorated with the theme “Arabian Nights”. The seniors of the institute welcomed their new hospitality aspirants by offering them an amazing cultural event.

The event commenced with a Grand welcome to the new aspirants to give them a glimpse of the exciting life at AIHM that awaits them.

On this occasion a plethora of cultural activities which included vocal performance from AIHM’s very own Raag Band and dance performances were organized followed by a welcome speech by respected Principal Sir.

The event comprised of Bollywood and Bhangra performances which absolutely thrilled the audience with electrifying and throbbing beats of the music.

The entire event was planned, organized by the institute’s organising club and Food & Beverage club which gave them a platform to hone their event management skills. The most awaited part of the function was judgement of Mr & Ms Fresher 2023. The winners were decided after a series of Ramp walks and Q&A session. Following are the results-

The Food & Beverage Club adorned the institute's dining hall with vibrant and appealing decor on the theme barbieheimer alongside the Kitchen Club beautifully prepared an exquisite 4-Tier cake in reference with the F&B club’s theme.

Mr. Sitesh Srivastav, Principal of the Institute stated that “It is a life changing journey for you all and we want each one to leave an impression of infallibility on the walls of this institute”.

The stunning event ended with cake cutting ceremony and a vote of thanks from the respected Principal Sir followed by Hi-Tea in the institute’s dining hall with amazing arrangements made by the F&B club.
