‘ASSOCHAM Delegation meet with CM to discuss about progressive policies of Haryana govt
Chandigarh, (Aditi) To discuss on various industry friendly policies of the government that can enable modernized investments and ease of doing business in the state, industry’s CSR contribution for the state ASSOCHAM Haryana State Council members facilitated the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal for his immense contribution towards the industrial development in the state at Gurugram.
The discussion included offering a wide range of topics from Entrepreneurship development centre, MSME finance facilitation centre, Skill gap analysis study to development of tourism etc., all in collaboration of the state government and ASSOCHAM Haryana Council.
CM put light on various efforts the government is making towards ease of doing business, and also he assured redressal of bottlenecks, which encouraged and motivated the delegation. The topic went onto discuss how to further improve focusing on the ease of living index for the economic upliftment of the people of the state.

And ASSOCHAM Haryana council is more eager.
We would like to support the Government in various areas to promote Haryana as a brand like -Local Skill Development, Labour Demand supply portal, Entrepreneurship development, MSME Finance facilitation, Tourism development, Investment promotion, CSR focus and many more.
During the meeting, Hon’ble Chief Minister said, “We are committed to establish Haryana as a competitive and favoured investment destination, achieve regional development, export diversification and augment livelihood opportunities for its people through resilient economic development. The Haryana enterprises and employment policy has an ambitious target to attract investments of INR 1 lakh crore and generate 5 lakh jobs in the state by 2025.
Stating the importance of CSR, CM mentioned about burial and cremation grounds maintenance under CSR areas, delegation assured collaboration of ASSOCHAM with CSR trust for the same. He also assured to benefit the industry in terms of skill development through ASSOCHAM and skill development university and making a local data centre
CM also informed about the tourism development activities of the state, he said ‘Panchkula-Morni hills is the latest attraction having water sports, and apart from its other circuits like religious tourism of Kurukshetra, Heritage circuit having cultural monuments-Madhogarh, Dhosi etc. are being promoted, also lake tourism is in the priority list.
Mr. S V Goyal Whole Time Director & CEO- Reliance Model Economic Township “With dedicated ancillary industries and industrial parks, state of Haryana can achieve immense amount of investment. New and existing units should be given various subsidies to encourage more investment”, he also requested for development of industrial roads and simplification of roads acquisition for industrial areas.
Mr. Lalit Agarwal, CMD, V-Mart Retail Ltd stated, “Lot of new initiatives are taken up by the Government of Haryana, we only want to contribute to the betterment of the industry whether it is for supply chain processes, retailers or logistics efficiency or manufacturing industry having large employment involvement” and requested for redressal of environment clearances in an easy manner.
Mr Jyoti Prakash Gadia, Co – Chairman-ASSOCHAM Haryana State Council & Managing Director Resurgent India Limited proposed for MSME finance facilitation in collaboration with State Govt and requested for government support in making a centre for the same.
