Cash for Job scam: Channi denies allegation, says CM Mann is defaming me

Chandigarh: Former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi refuted corruption charges made by CM Bhagwant Mann against Channi's nephew.

"I have been here for 6 months and have not signed any file. Such false allegations have been made against me earlier too. CM Mann is defaming me, defaming the entire Congress party. I got a call from Sukhpal Khaira and found out that the person who has been accusing me had gone to the first court where his appeal was rejected," said Charanjit Singh Channi in a press conference.

He was accompanied by the leader of the opposition Punjab Partap Singh Bajwa.
