Chugh challenged Capt Amarinder Singh for an open debate on any platform

No ordinance talks of abolition of MSP; Congress govt., AAP misleading people of Punjab: Tarun Chugh
Chandigarh (Gurpreet)- The Bharatiya Janata Party today said that none of the three Ordinances passed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government talks of abolition of MSP but Capt Amarinder Singh-led Punjab Government and AAP were misleading the people and creating confusion.
Defending the ordinances tooth and nail, Chugh challenged Capt Amarinder Singh for an open debate on any platform.
Tarun Chugh, the national secretary of the party said the wordinances passed by the Modi government at the Centre, were in fact farmer friendly and would give liberty to the farmers to sell their produce anywhere across the country and get better prices.
Chugh said Capt Amarinder by raising the non-issue was actually trying to hide the failure of his government to provide relief to the farmers of the state by waiving their farm-debt. He said Capt Amarinder during 2017 polls had promised to waive the 90,000-crore loan of Punjab farmers, a promise which remains unfulfilled even after three and a half years. He reminded Capt Amarinder Singh the successive Congress-led governments in the Centre could do nothing in the interest of farmers but Prime Minister Modi was committed for the welfare of farming community. He said Capt Amarinder cannot technically point even a single word or sentence in the ordinances which goes against the farmers of the country.
He claimed that the pro-farmer ordinances would empower the farmers to chalk out their strategies to get the best price of the produce while MSP would be there to safeguard their interests, if they fail to or were not interested in getting better prices elsewhere.
