CM congratulates anti-gangster task force of Punjab Police for decisive action against gangsters
Says no stone will be left unturned for making Punjab a peaceful, prosperous and progressive state
Chandigarh, (Gurpreet) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday congratulated the Police force and the anti-gangster task force for successfully executing operation against gangsters in the state.
In a statement issued here, the Chief Minister said that the state government has launched a decisive war against the gangsters and anti-social elements in the state. He said that as per the commitment of the state government the Punjab Police has today got a major success in an anti-gangster operation in Amritsar. Bhagwant Mann congratulated all the Police officers and officials who have made this operation against gangsters a huge success.
The Chief Minister categorically said that the Police officers have exhibited rare courage and heroism during the operation to eliminate the gangsters from Punjab. He said that as a fact of matter the Punjab Police has upheld its glorious tradition of bravery and professional commitment to safeguard the lives of people. Bhagwant Mann said that these gangsters were involved in murder of noted singer Sidhu Moosewala.
The Chief Minister said that Punjab government is according top priority to wipe out scourge of gangsters and drugs from state. Bhagwant Mann said that earlier governments used to patronise drug trade and gangsters in the state but now none of them will be spared.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed for maintaining peace, law and order in Punjab at every cost. He said that no one will be allowed to disturb the hard earned peace of the state and severest of severe action will be taken against gangsters and anti-social elements. Bhagwant Mann assured the Punjabis that no stone will be left unturned for making Punjab a peaceful, prosperous and progressive state.
