Chandigarh (Gurpreet)-Outer walls of 3777 Government Schools in Punjab are incomplete, or require repairs-324 Govt Schools do not have outer/boundary walls-Punjab State Child Rights Commission tells the Education Secretary/department to complete outer/boundary walls of all these Schools by 31st, March, 2021

The Punjab State Child Rights  Protection Commission has concluded that Outer walls of 3777 Government Schools in Punjab are incomplete, or require repairs-324 Govt Schools do not have outer/boundary walls. Advocate and Social Activist, H.C. Arora, had stated in his complaint, that stray animals, like dogs, cows are found to be roaming about in the Schools, thereby posing grteat danger to safety of the students. After perusing reply filed by   School Education, the Commission has told the Secretary, School Education to ensure completion/repair of outer/boundary walls of all these Schools, as the case be, by the end of financial year 2020-2021, by procuring funds from MNREGA/Government/NABARD
