Chandigarh, (Gurpreet) BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said today that Punjab chief minister Charanjit Channi and PCC president Navjot Sidhu have made " a tamasha" out of the entire state.
In a statement, Chugh said it has always been clear that Channi and Sidhu are not on the same page because of their conflict of interest, but it is shame that in the process they have made Punjab an ugly stage of political gimmicks.
Chugh said the AAP and the Akali Dal were also doing the same to the state. " Instead of making sensible statements and promises to the people, they are ridiculing people of Punjab by making false and baseless promises", he said.
Reacting to media reports that Channi's brother was involved in the Ludhiana City scam Chugh said the BJP has been always saying that the Punjab Congress is nothing but mafia gangs and corruption personified.
Chugh said the Congress government in Punjab did not know what the right hand was doing and what the left one.He said the way Channi and Sidhu have been going crossroads indicated clearly that the Congress high command had no idea how a sensitive border state like Punjab has been handed over to political " tamashbins".

चंडीगढ़ (गुरप्रीत) भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव तरुण चुग ने बयान जारी कर कहा की पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री चरणजीत चन्नी और प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष नवजोत सिद्धू ने पूरे राज्य को ''तमाशा'' बना दिया है।
चुग ने कहा की यह स्पष्ट है कि हितों के टकराव के कारण चन्नी और सिद्धू एक ही पृष्ठ पर नहीं हैं, लेकिन यह शर्म की बात है कि इस खानाजंगी की प्रक्रिया में उन्होंने पंजाब को राजनीतिक नौटंकी का एक बदसूरत मंच बना दिया है। चुघ ने कहा की आप और अकाली दल भी राज्य के साथ ऐसा ही कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा, लोगों से पूरे हो सकने वाले वादे करने के बजाय, वे झूठे और निराधार वादे करके पंजाब के लोगों का मज़ाक उड़ा रहे हैं।
चुग ने मीडिया में प्रकाशित रिपोर्टों पर प्रतिक्रिया व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि चन्नी का भाई लुधियाना सिटी सेंटर घोटाले में शामिल था, चुग ने कहा कि भाजपा हमेशा कहती रही है कि पंजाब कांग्रेस सिर्फ माफिया गिरोह का जमघट है । चुग ने कहा कि पंजाब की कांग्रेस सरकार को नहीं पता कि मुख्यमंत्री चन्नी रूपी दाहिना हाथ क्या कर रहा है और सिद्धू रूपी बायां हाथ क्या कर रहा है व एक दूसरे को काटने की लड़ाई में पंजाब व पंजाब के इंस्टिट्यूशन व आम लोगो का भारी नुकसान कर रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि जिस तरह से चन्नी और सिद्धू चौराहे पर लड़ झगड़ रहे हैं, यह स्पष्ट रूप से दर्शाता है कि कांग्रेस आलाकमान को पता नहीं था कि पंजाब जैसे संवेदनशील सीमावर्ती राज्य को राजनीतिक "तमाशे" के लिए कैसे नेताओं पर विश्वास कर लिया गया?
