This distinction signifies the significant progress made by the district in enhancing sanitation and solid & liquid waste management, ultimately improving the overall quality of life for its residents.

On occasion of achieving this milestone, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa has congratulated all the officials, residents and public representatives of the district who have worked to achieve this goal.

He said that the government led by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann is working assiduously to provide basic facilities to the people of Punjab from day one. It is also the aim of the government that the people should not face any kind of hardship for the facilities and get all the facilities at their doorstep without any hassle.
