Chandigarh, (Aditi) : The Gillco International School, Mohali has announced opening of ‘visual & performing arts’ evening academies for the children at its school campus. There will be separate academies including theatre, dance, bhangra, fitness, art & craft that will be run by different facilitators. Students from other schools can also get themselves enrolled in the academy of their interest.
Talking to the media here , Ruchi Sharma Principal- Gillco International School said that the main aim of education is the holistic development of the child. Each child has the potential to excel in one field or the other.
The theatre academy will be run by The Narrators Performing Arts Society twice a week separately for junior and senior students. The Narrators is a renowned society for performing arts headed by Nisha Luthra who’s also the Head in India of the Leinster School of Music & Drama, Ireland.
