ON DIRECTIONS OF CHIEF MINISTER, BRAM SHANKER JIMPA GIVES APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO ANOTHER 24 CANDIDATES


Chandigarh: On the directions of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Revenue, Rehabilitation, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa today gave appointment letters to the 24 candidates in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department for the posts of Stenotypist. Earlier on March 11th, 9 candidates were handed over appointment letters for the posts of Clerk, Junior Technician and Helper in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department. 

 

Jimpa said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to ensure employment for the youth of the State here itself and the State Government under his leadership, is leaving no stone unturned to give jobs to educated youth in Punjab so that they don't have to go abroad. 

 

On the occasion, the Minister said that the State Government is safeguarding the interests of the people belonging to all the sections of the society apart from focussing on overall development of the State.

 

These candidates were to be given appointment letters by the Chief Minister but due to some unavoidable reasons, the Chief Minister entrusted the responsibility to Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Jimpa who distributed these appointment letters as per the directions of the Chief Minister.

 

The candidates and their family members profusely thanked the State Government and the officers of the department. The candidates vowed to serve the people with honesty and dedication. 

 

On the occasion, Principal Secretary Nilkanth S. Avhad and HOD Amit Talwar were also present.
