Chandigarh (Gurpreet) Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Desh Bhagat Dental College and hospital celebrated Pedodontist Day. Dr. Shiminder Kaur Bangoo, HOD, Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Desh Bhagat Dental College and hospital gave an expert lecture on oral hygiene, various treatments available and their pros and cons.
Poster making and Photography competition was organized for the students. More than 100 students participated.
Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, and Dr. Tejinder Kaur , Pro Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University, said,” Good hygiene and eating habits are the foundation of good health. These habits should be inculcated at childhood, as when they do, they are difficult to amend.
Our teeth are an important part of our body and if we want our children to have original teeth for life, it is important to inculcate oral hygiene habits at a young age. With proper home hygiene and biannual dental checkups that can happen”
