Plaza Zone emerges as champion of UTCA Women's U- 19 ODI League, beats Rock Zone by three wickets

Chandigarh: In the last match of UTCA Women's Under 19 ODI League being played at Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, Chandigarh, Plaza Zone won the league by defeating Rock Zone by three wickets. Plaza Zone topped the points table by winning three matches and were declared the winners.

Earlier, Rock Zone won the toss and decided to bat first. The team was bundled out for 108 runs in the 43rd over, with the top scorers - Soumya (21) and Jasnoor (21). From the opposition, Poorvi Chauhan (3/9) took maximum three wickets while Rakhi Dhar (2/13) and Chhavi (2/24) shared two wickets each.

In reply, opener Sarah Mahajan's innings of 30 runs helped Plaza Zone win in the 34th over at the loss of seven wickets. Aastha (2/18) and Stuti (2/25) clinched two wickets each.
