The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi interacted with students, their parents and teachers in the programme 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' on January 27, 2023 at Talkatora Stadium, Delhi and in virtual mode the entire nation was connected with this unique interaction program.
As per the Ministry of Education,Over 38.80 lakh registrations had been done for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023. Around 20 lakh questions were received from 155 countries for the PPC 2023. About 2050 students, teachers and parents were selected through competitions on MyGov, they would be gifted with PPC Kits by the Ministry of Education. Around 300 students with their teachers watched the live telecast of PPC 2023 at Raj Bhawan Chandigarh, under the kind Aegis of Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh. Dr. Dharam Pal Adviser to the Administrator Ms. Purva Garg, Education Secretary, Sh.Harsihinderpal Singh Brar ,Director School Education and other officials from the education department registered their presence at the event.
This was the 6th edition of PPC where the focus remained to manage nervousness, anxiety, pressure and improve concentration He also discussed the role of parents and teachers in grooming the students. The idea of smart hardwork propounded by the honorable PM is surely the ideology to be opted by 'New India' which will help it to scale the greatest heights.
From Chandigarh Mannat Bajwa from St. Joseph's Senior Secondary School Sector 44, Chandigarh enquired how the honorable Prime Minister managed his critics, while running the World's largest democracy. To which PM Modi started off on a lighter note and he mentioned that criticism is essential for democracy,it helps him to rethink,review and replan,it helps him to improve. But it has to be constructive criticism, if it is criticism for the sake of it,then one must turn a deaf ear to it, but advice and criticism from family must be kept in mind and one should take it as positive criticism,he guided parents to be polite with their wards and discuss in a friendly way. They should refrain from taunting and comparison. On time management his guidance to observe the routine of mothers was a very relatable thought which nobody had ever thought of,
PM Modi through this special session shared valuable thoughts and tips for the examinees to help them to beat exam stress,respect their teachers and follow the advice of their parents
