Sarupam Purkayastha scored 36 runs off 62 balls with help of five boundaries , Sibsankar Roy scored 28 runs off 53 balls with help of three boundaries for Assam. For Punjab, Arshdeep Singh claimed 4 / 30, Mayank Markande took 3 / 27 and Abhishek Sharma 2 / 14 wickets .
Replying team Punjab achieved the target without any loss of wickets and scored 130 runs in 15.2 overs. Prabhsimran Singh scored unbeaten 73* runs off 55 balls with help of nine boundaries and three sixes and Abhishek Sharma scored unbeaten 56* runs off 38 balls with help of nine boundaries and one six , both steered the Punjab for the victory. With this win Punjab got 4 points .

पंजाब बनाम असम का मैच जेएससीए ओवल ग्राउंड, रांची, झारखंड में खेला गया। असम ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया। असम की टीम 34.5 ओवर में 125 रन पर आल आउट हो गई। असम के लिए सरूपम पुरकायस्थ ने 62 गेंदों में 36 रन बनाए, सिबशंकर रॉय ने 53 गेंदों में तीन चौकों की मदद से 28 रन बनाए। पंजाब के लिए अर्शदीप सिंह ने 4/30, मयंक मारकंडे ने 3/27 और अभिषेक शर्मा ने 2/14 विकेट लिए।
जवाब में टीम पंजाब ने बिना विकेट खोए लक्ष्य हासिल कर लिया और 15.2 ओवर में 130 रन बना लिए। प्रभसिमरन सिंह ने 55 गेंदों पर नौ चौकों और तीन छक्कों की मदद से नाबाद 73* रन बनाए और अभिषेक शर्मा ने 38 गेंदों पर नौ चौकों और एक छक्के की मदद से नाबाद 56* रन बनाए, दोनों ने पंजाब को जीत दिलाई। इस जीत के साथ पंजाब को 4 अंक मिले।
लीग मैच के चौथे दौर में पंजाब अब 12 दिसंबर 2021 को जेएससीए इंटरनेशनल स्टेडियम कॉम्प्लेक्स, रांची में सर्विसेज की टीम के खिलाफ खेलेगा।
