Chandigarh (Kritika) Students at KBDAV-7 were encouraged to participate in Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2021-22 organized by Vigyan Prasar in association with NCERT.
At State Level Camp, held from 30th November 2021 to 5th December 2021, Sagar Singh of Class VIII has stood first and qualified to participate in National Level Camp where he will be undergoing Internship and Extensive Training in Research and Development Labs. Himank Solanki of Class VII has stood Third. They were awarded a Trophy, Medal, Certificate, and a Cash Prize of Rs. 5000/- and Rs. 2000/- respectively. The Camp was held at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali on 20 March 2022. In the State Level Camp, the students were adjudged on the basis of Pen-Paper Test, Audio-Visual Test, and Practical Laboratory Test.
This year VVM came up with Mega Nation-wide Experiment based on the food habits of students, the nutritional value of the consumed food and its environmental impact which will enable students to know about the Indian contribution to Science and develop leadership qualities among them.
The students who participated in VVM have been a source of inspiration for the young aspirants, who have a keen interest in the field of science.
