Vigilance guns have gone silent against Congress leaders after formation of INDIA alliance : SAD

Chandigarh: Shiromani Akali Dal today lashed out at AAP and Congress party and said that Vigilance guns have gone silent against Congress leaders after formation of I.N.D.I.A. alliance at National level.

Addressing a press conference here today, SAD legal Cell President Advocate Arshdeep Singh Kler said that though Vigilance Bureau was being used against Congress leaders at large scale but selectively that too has now stopped after formation of National alliance in which both parties are members.

Lashing out at Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, SAD leader said that he was Home Minister as well and who had stopped him for ensuring justice for former Ranji Trophy player Jasinder Singh Baidwan for whom he had claimed that former Chief Minister Channi had demanded Rs. 2 crore for getting him government job. He said that whole Punjab understands why Vigilance and Police was not hunting for Channi in the matter as CM has already reached a secret understanding with him in late night meetings.

Lashing out at PPCC Chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Advocate Kler said that he used to claim from stages secret understanding of Congress as 75:25 government. He said that Punjabis have already seen this reality that when it was Congress government it had 75 percent share and AAP had 25 percent and now after formation of AAP government in the state this pact has reversed and now AAP has biggest share. He said that media reports have also disclosed that both parties will contest Lok Sabha elections jointly and AAP will contest on 8 and Congress on 5 seats in the state.

He said that Punjabis were reeling under huge losses since last one and a half month by except for tall promises by CM Bhagwant Mann, they have not got even a single rupee as compensation. He said that farmers have lost their crop and people in rural as well as urban areas have lost their houses in floods but government has failed to come to their rescue.
