Amritsar, (Global News) Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS) has been declared as the Best Emerging Higher Education Institution of the year 2020 (Veterinary and Animal Science) by the “Pearl Education Excellence Award for Higher Education in India for the year 2020”. The award was announced at a “National Conference on SMART SUMMIT-2021” recently Principal Dr. P.K Kapoor received the award and citation today during the virtual award ceremony organized by PEARL Foundation. The award ceremony was inaugurated by Honorable Justice Shri B. Pugalendhi, Judge, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Tamil Nadu.

खालसा कॉलेज ऑफ वेटेरनरी एंड एनिमल साइंसेस जो कि सीमावर्ती क्षेत्र के अलावा देहाती व शहरी इलाकों में अपनी मजबूत साख बनाने में कामयाब हुआ है को वर्ष 2020 के लिए भारत में उच्च शिक्षा के लिए पर्ल एजुकेशन एक्सीलेंस अवॉर्ड फॉर हायर एजुकेशन इन इंडिया फॉर की वर्ष 2020 से नवाजा गया है। फाउंडेशन द्वारा वर्चुअल अवार्ड समारोह स्मार्ट सम्मिट 2021 नेशनल कांफ्रेंस का आयोजन किया गया जिसका उद्घाटन जस्टिस बी.पुगालेंदी, जज मद्रास हाइकोर्ट मधुराई बेंच तमिलनाडु ने किया।
इस अवसर पर पर फाउंडेशन द्वारा आयोजित वर्चुअल अवार्ड समारोह में कॉलेज प्रिंसिपल डॉ पीके कपूर को उक्त पुरस्कार तथा प्रशंसा पत्र के साथ सम्मान देते हुए नाम घोषित किया गया। प्रोग्रेसिव एजुकेशन एडवांस रिसर्च लॉरिअट पर्ल फाउंडेशन एजुकेशनल एक्सीलेंस अवार्ड खेती-बाड़ी, कला, मानवता, इंजीनियरिंग, वेटरनरी साइंस, मेडिसन तथा साइंस आदि क्षेत्रों में अलग-अलग व्यक्तियों तथा संस्थाओं को उच्च स्तरीय शिक्षा में उनके योगदान तथा समाज में उनके प्रभाव तथा हमारे साथी नागरिकों के कल्याण के लिए योगदान के फल स्वरुप सम्मानित किया जाता है। यह एक शानदार राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार है।
