Chandigarh (Aditi) The Department of Hotel and Tourism Management of DBU started the Christmas festivities with traditional cake mixing ceremony .The activity provided the hands on experience to the budding chefs of the department. University leadership joined the students with rolled sleeves, in mixing the ingredients. On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, Dr. Tejinder Kaur, Pro- Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University said that the spirit of Christmas is the spirit of love and happiness. As all these ingredients will create a blend of flavors, let’s all unify irrespective of caste, religion and creed and spread togetherness. Prof. Shalini Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Palwinder Kumar, Director, Department of Hotel and Tourism Management deliberated on the importance of the cake mixing ceremony in this festive season and motivated the students to take up entrepreneurship as a career option.
