Haryana Congress to gherao Raj Bhavan on 15 January in support of farmers - Bansal


Decision to contest panchayat elections after detailed discussion - Selja Chandigarh, (Aditi) -A meeting of Haryana Congress leaders was organized at Gurdwara Rakabganj Road in New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by Haryana Congress In-Charge Vivek Bansal. President. Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee Kumari Selja, Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, MLA and Former leader Haryana Congress Legislature Party Kiran Choudhary, Special Invitee Member of Congress Working Committee and MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi, Former Minister Captain Ajay Yadav, Secretary Indian National Congress Virender Rathore and Ashish Dua were present on the occasion. Giving information about the meeting, Haryana Congress In-charge Vivek Bansal said that in the meeting, discussion was held about the farmers' movement and the upcoming panchayat elections to be held in Haryana. He said that the Congress party is constantly fighting against the anti-agriculture black laws and has stood firmly with the farmers. On January 15, the Haryana Congress will gherao the Raj Bhavan in support of the farmers against these black laws. Kumari Selja said that this was the first meeting regarding Panchayat elections in which several aspects were discussed. In the coming days, there will be a detailed discussion with the party leaders and workers about the Panchayati Election and thereafter, decision will be taken to contest the election on party symbol. Kumari Selja said that instead of repealing the black laws, the government is constantly pretending to negotiate. More than 60 farmers have sacrificed their lives in this bitter cold-rain. The Congress Party, under the leadership of Congress President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and Mr. Rahul Gandhi, is continuously raising the voice of farmers and laborers. Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that in this difficult time, the Congress Party has stood with farmers at every stage and is helping them in every possible manner. Today farmers are sitting on the open roads in this fierce cold and are constantly struggling, but the BJP government is bent on dictatorship. MLA and Former leader, Haryana Congress Legislature Party Kiran Choudhary said that the government is only tricking the farmers in the name of negotiation. Since the beginning, the intention of the government was not clear, she added. Special Invitee Member of Congress Working Committee and MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi said that the BJP government is only concerned about its capitalist friends. The BJP government is continuously killing the democracy, he added. Former Minister Captain Ajay Yadav said that this government is continuously taking repressive action against the farmers. In Rewari, brutal action was taken against the agitating farmers. Secretary of the Indian National Congress Virender Rathore and Ashish Dua said that the government is adamant and it has no faith in democracy.
