In his letter to the SGPC, Jakhar said, the unprecedented Shahadat of Chhote and Wadde Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji lends a poignant meaning to the month of December for the Naam Leva Sangat across the globe. Their martyrdom is an eternal source of motivation for each and every citizen."
The decision of PM Narendra Modi to announce observance of martyrdom day of Chhote Sahibzadas as Veer Baal Diwas on national level was to propagate their sacrifices amongst people across the nation, Jakhar added.
