MARKED WITH DEVOTION AND DEDICATION PREPARATIONS FOR THE NIRANKARI SANT SAMAGAM IN FULL SWING


Chandigarh, (Aditi): Maharashtra’s 54th Nirankari Sant Samagam will be conducted from February 26 to 28, (2021) in a virtual format under the divine presence of Her Holiness Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj. In the prevailing pandemic situation of Covid-19 and abiding by the guidelines laid by the Govt; the Sant Nirankari Mission in its resolve to continue with the series of its Regional Samagams has taken recourse to a virtual format. Sh. Navneet Pathak Sanyojak Chandigarh branch told that this information was given by Mrs. Raj Kumari, Member Incharge Press and Publicity Department Sant Nirankari Mandal.

PREPARATIONS AMIDST SAFETY

Since the month of January 2021,the preparations were set afoot at the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Chembur, Mumbai wherein volunteers with relevant skills were busy creating the necessary infrastructure viz. studio set up,recording and editing etc. well in time to shoot the episodes.

The entire programme was shot in the divine presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha ji Maharaj wherein speakers, singers, musicians and poets rendered their thoughts,feelings through their relevant exponents all dedicated to the Theme of the Samagam—ETERNAL STABILITY.

The Samagam, being of State level, participants hailed from various parts of Maharashtra, giving due representations to all the regions where the Mission has its presence. However, contributing to this programme were recordings from various partsof the country and overseas also.

Giving due credence to the safety measures laid by the authorities; theywere enforced strictly,likewearing of masks,keeping a safe distance of 2ft, sanitizing etc. The Mission went a step ahead of ensuring RT-PCR (test for Covid) forall volunteers and participants in coordination with the concerned Govt Dept.

PROGRAMME TELECAST

The entire Virtual Samagam will be telecast on Sanskar T. V. Channel and webcast on the Mission’s website; simultaneously, on all three days from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

The devotees are awaiting this Samagam with great enthusiasm, despite the changed format, accepting it as the will of the Almighty.

HISTORY OF SAMAGAMS IN MAHARASHTRA

State of Maharashtra witnessed its first Nirankari Sant Samagam in 1968 when itwas held at the Shivaji Park Ground in Mumbai in the divine presence of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, thus heralding the serial format thereon till 1980. Thenit was held underthe divinepresence of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj for the next 36 years. The trend continued for 2 years in the presence of Mata Savinder Ji Maharaj. The series of Samagams continue with renewed enthusiasm underthe benevolence of the current head of the Mission, Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj. Mumbai had an opportunity of hosting it for 52 years with the 53 being held atthe city of Nashik.

THEME OF THE SAMAGAM

ETERNAL STABILITY is the theme of the Samagam with an appeal to remain connected to the Creator—the Formless God; to sail through this human incarnation remaining equipoised and maintaining composure at all times and circumstances.

Nirankari Mission maintains that everything in nature; situations in life are under constant change with all ups and downs and the only way to live through is by being connected to the Formless God and driving strength to stay spiritually stable.

SOCIAL COMMITMENT

The Mission stands socially committed to serve humankind whenever and wherever possible under the guidance of Satguru who teaches us that ‘service to mankind is service to God.’

This was being aptly demonstrated in Covid-19 times by organizing Blood donation camps with proper coordination of concerned authorities. The Sant Nirankari Blood Bank in Mumbai which has the honor of being the first one of the Mission.

With a few days to go, devotees and God loving people wait in enthusiasm to experience this Samagam of Maharashtra, which has assumed an international aura with global participation to rededicate themselves to the cause of humanity.
