Chandigarh (Aditi) For the first time The NEET UG 2021 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) successfully conducted on Sunday with new pattern i.e. options. NEET is national level exam to get admission in MBBS BDS BAMS BHMS. Due to heavy rain on Sunday, candidates faced difficulty to reach their center allotted by NTA(national testing agency) . Although, Students are required to enter the exam center before 1:30 pm as no late entries will be entertained. Many exam centers centers had started entry of students before 11:00am due to rain. There was heavy rush outside the exam centers in which covid 19 protocol was not seen least in many centers. Every year this paper is a pen and paper-based examination. This medical entrance exam has been deferred multiple times owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Earlier it was about to scheduled in JULY but was postponed to 12 September, last year this exam was conducted 13 September.
NEET Expert, Mr. Amit Bharal, owner of North India Medical Institute Chandigarh said that NEET 2021 question paper was based on new pattern this year in which first time option was available for candidates, in wich student has to attempt 180 question out of 200 total questions. In total there were 180 multiple choice questions holding the marks of 720.
Sarishti Bhagi a first time NEET candidate from Ropar district, told, “questions were very good. Biology was easier & almost from NCERT Book. Question of physics not easy. Chemistry was average and little tricky. I have done well. In the exam hall we were not even allowed to take our pen and water also. It was little difficult to attempt paper by using mask and surgical gloves.
