चंडीगढ़: एमसीडी स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों को किताबों की सप्लाई नहीं होने पर दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने अरविंद केजरीवाल को आड़े हाथों लिया। हाईकोर्ट से साफ कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल ने जेल में रहने के बावजूद मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा न देकर अपने निजी हित को राष्ट्रहित से ऊपर रखा। पंजाब बीजेपी मीडिया सेल के प्रमुख विनीत जोशी ने इसी मामले को गंभीरता से उठाते हुए कहा कि हाईकोर्ट की तरफ से अरविंद केजरीवाल के खिलाफ की गई टिप्पणियाँ भारतीय जनता पार्टी के आरोपों को पूरी तरह से पुख्ता करती हैं। भाजपा पहले से कहती आ रही है कि अरविंद केजरीवाल सिर्फ ईमानदार होने का ढोंग करते हैं। उनके निजी हित राष्ट्रहित से ऊपर है। यह पहली बार नहीं है, इसके पहले भी कई मामलों में उनकी मंशा जग जाहिर हो चुकी है। विनीत जोशी ने कहा कि दिल्ली की शराब नीति घोटाले में आप सुप्रीमो व दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की भूमिका संदिग्ध है। इसी के चलते वह तिहाड़ जेल में बंद हैं। अपनी गिरफ्तारी से पहले अरविंद केजरीवाल ने इस पूरे मामले को सियासी रंग देने में कोई कसर बाकी नहीं छोड़ी। अरविंद केजरीवाल को ईडी ने 9 बार तलब किया, लेकिन उन्होंने ‘मैं नहीं मानता, मैं पेश नहीं हूंगा की रट लगाए रखी’। फिर वे दिल्ली की निचली अदालतों में गए और ईडी सम्मन को गैर कानूनी बताया, जिसे न्यायाधीशों ने शुरू में ही खारिज कर दिया। इसी तरह गिरफ्तारी से जुड़े सवालों का भी वह जवाब नहीं दे सके। दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट पहुंचे और अपनी गिरफ्तारी को चुनौती दी, वहां भी पहले की तरह केजरीवाल को मुंह की खानी पड़ी और दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने उनकी याचिका खारिज कर दी। इतना ही नहीं, केजरीवाल ने ईडी के खिलाफ राजनीतिक द्वेष के आरोप लगाए, जिसे दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने पूरी तरह से खारिज कर दिया । जोशी ने कहा कि इसी सप्ताह गुरुवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट में ईडी ने उक्त तथ्यों के आधार पर अरविंद केजरीवाल को शराब नीति घोटाले का सरगना और मुख्य साजिशकर्ता बताया है। विनीत जोशी ने कहा कि आप सुप्रीमो केजरीवाल के विवादों का सिलसिला सिर्फ दिल्ली तक ही सीमित नहीं है। हर कोई जानता है कि कैसे उन्होंने पहले बिक्रम मजीठिया पर नशा तस्करी का आरोप लगाया और बाद में माफी मांग कर उस केस को खत्म करवाया । पंजाब बीजेपी मीडिया सेल के प्रमुख विनीत जोशी ने आप सुप्रीमो अरविंद केजरीवाल पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि अब जब दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने केजरीवाल को आईना दिखा दिया, तो भी वह क्या दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री बने रहेंगे। केजरीवाल की सत्ता लोलुपता पर और हाईकोर्ट की टिप्पणी पर मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान की क्या राय है जो हर बात पर पंजाब में दिल्ली मॉडल को लागू करने की बात करते हैं। इस पूरे घटना क्रम से दिल्ली सरकार की शिक्षा नीति का सच भी देश के सामने आया है, जो पूरी तरह से प्रचार प्रसार पर आधारित थी।

पटियाला: दिल्ली के स्कूलों में छात्रें को किताबें नहीं मिल रही है। इसको लेकर हाईकोर्ट ने अरविंद केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व वाली दिल्ली सरकार को जमकर फटकार लगाई है। साथ ही कोर्ट ने यह भी कहा है कि केजरीवाल ने इस्तीफा न देकर निजी हितों को राष्ट्रीय हित से ऊपर रखा है। पटियाला लोकसभा से बीजेपी प्रस्ताशी एंव सांसद महारानी परनीत कौर ने शनिवार को मीडिया के साथ सांझा की। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा न देने पर बीते शुक्रवार को अरविंद केजरीवाल को कड़ी फटकार लगाई। कोट ने एक याचिका पर सुनवाई दौरान यहां तक कह दिया कि आप पार्टी वाली दिल्ली सरकार को केवल सत्ता में दिलचस्पी है। दिल्ली में शिक्षा के स्तर को बढ़ाचढ़ाकर बताने वाले अरविंद केजरीवाल आज बच्चों को किताबें न मिलने की बात से जानबूझकर बेखबर हैं, यदि बच्चों की शिक्षा का फिक्र केजरीवाल को होता तो वह बच्चों के भविष्य को प्राथमिकता देते हुए अपने पद से अस्तीफा दे देकर बाबा साहिब अंबेडर जी के बनाए संविधान का सम्मान बढ़ाते। सांसद महारानी परनीत कौर ने मीडिया से बातचीत दौरान कहा कि अदालत में एमसीडी कमिश्नर की ओर से दलील दी गई थी कि नोटबुक, स्टेशनरी आइटम, यूनिफॉर्म और स्कूल बैग का वितरण न होने का एक बड़ा कारण स्थछाई समितियों का गठन न होना है। समितियों के पास ही पांच करोड़ रुपये से अधिक के ठेके दोने की शक्ति और अधिकार है और समितियां का चेयरमैन मुख्यमंत्री हो जो इस समय जेल में हैं। चेयरमैन के बिना समितियां कोई फैसला कानून अनुसार नहीं ले सकती। लिहाजा बच्चे इस समय किताबों के साथ-साथ स्टेशनी और स्कूल बैग से भी वंचित हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी पर निशाना साधते हुए सांसद परनीत कौर ने कहा कि आप के जो मंत्री दावा करते थे कि दिल्ली में एजूकेशन ढांचा विश्र सेतर का बना दिया गया है, वह अपने सत्ता मोह के चलते बच्चों को किताबें और अन्य जरूरी सामान मुहैया करवाने को तैयार नहीं हैं।  सत्ता का मोह आज आप लीडरशिप की नजर में शिक्षा से कहीं बड़ा हो चुका है।

Chandigarh: Government College of Education, Sector 20D, Chandigarh organized its 65th Annual Convocation in the college premises today. Around 100 B.Ed. and M.Ed. students were conferred upon the degrees during this convocation by the Chief Guest Shri Banwarilal Purohit, Governor, Punjab & Administrator, U.T. Chandigarh in the presence of Guests of Honor Shri Rajeev Verma, Advisor to the Administrator, Chandigarh and Sh. Abhijit Vijay Chaudhari, Secretary, Education, Chandigarh Administration. College Principal, Dr. Sapna Nanda read out the annual report of the college and highlighted the achievements of the institution in various fields. She accentuated the efforts of the faculty, students and other staff members of the college in furthering and fulfilling the educational objectives of the college. Shri Banwarilal Purohit in his convocation address congratulated the graduates (B.Ed.) and post graduates (M.Ed.) and the faculty members of the college for their indigenous efforts. He motivated the young teachers to fortify the virtues of discipline, honesty and integrity in their character in order to justify themselves to their endeavor of choosing this noble profession. He quoted Mahatama Gandhi Ji and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as iconic figures who are role models for perspective teachers and society. He said that knowledge is the supreme power but mere acquisition of it is of no use unless it is translated into ethical values in life. Further, he inspired the degree holders to be a learner for life and continue and should strive for enriching their knowledge by reading literature and books of varied genres and field. Prizes were awarded to the students who secured various positions in the University examinations. In B.Ed., for the session 2021-23-Ameesha Verma secured first position, Ankita Ranout second and Tanuja Upreti got third place. In M.Ed., for the session 2021-23- Aarushi Sharma secured first position, Neha Yadav second and Anjali Kumari got third place. All the students who received degrees secured first division in the Panjab University, Examinations. The occasion was also marked by the book release of ‘National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023’.

Mohali: Mohali's Ratan Group of Colleges Sector 78  have entered into an agreement with Claremont University, USA. Under this agreement, MD students of the college will study for one year at Ratan Professional College and complete their studies by spending the second year at this American university. In this regard, a regular session was held at Ratan Professional Educational College in which Ratan Professional College Chairman Sunder Lal Aggarwal, Claremont Graduate University Dean It Mar Shabtai and Professor TJ Baring informed about this agreement. He said that an MoU will be formally signed in this regard soon. On this occasion, Professor TJ Baring gave detailed answers to the questions of the students of Ratan Professional Educational College. He said that the first year classes will be held here and for the second year students will study at Claremont University and this will reduce their fees by about 50 percent. He said that after completing the studies here, the students will get a three-year work visa. He said that nursing students also get full scholarship to study in America. On this occasion, the head of Ratan Professional Educational College Sunder Lal Aggarwal welcomed these officials from Claremont University of America and said that earlier the institution also has an agreement with Western University of America under which nursing students of the college can go to America for their Complete the course. He said that the MoU of his college with Western University has already been signed and under this the BSc nursing students study in the college located in Mohali for two years and spend two years in this university in America. He said that in order to find better opportunities for his college students, he himself went to America and coordinated with these universities and it has started to yield meaningful results. On this occasion, students of BSc Nursing, GNM Nursing including B Ed and M Ed asked a lot of questions from these officials of the university, which were answered by Professor PJ Baring. Ratan Professional Educational College Principal Sundar Lal Aggarwal said that soon another separate session will be held for students especially for nursing students.

Mohali: Computer Application Department at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri Campus hosted Ideathon 2K24 in collaboration with Qservices IT Solutions Inc. Mohali .Ideathon 2K24 aimed to unleash the creative potential of students by tasking them with devising solutions to real-world problems within a limited timeframe. CHANDIGARH: Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC), recently articulated apprehensions regarding the decline of industries in Punjab and the consequent relocation of industrial units to other states, driven by more favorable growth prospects elsewhere. During a recent visit to Delhi, Warring engaged with several industrialists and entrepreneurs during his travel, who conveyed their challenges amidst the prevailing industrial landscape in Punjab under the current AAP administration. Expressing dismay, they highlighted the migration of industries from Punjab to regions such as Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh. Notably, significant industrial entities like Cremica from Ludhiana poised to relocate to Jammu. Warring underscored, "These concerns reflect the ground reality, rather than mere political rhetoric. The neglect of existing industries by the government imperils Punjab's economic stability. Should industries vacate the state, irrespective of the ruling party, the resultant loss of revenue would be profound. Given Punjab's already precarious fiscal position, safeguarding existing industries and fostering further investment are imperative." Highlighting Punjab's economic dependence on agriculture, Raja Warring noted the adverse impact of measures implemented by the Narendra Modi-led central government, particularly in light of ongoing farmer protests. Disruptions in transportation, owing to protests on railway tracks, have exacerbated challenges faced by industries in the state. He added – “Protests by our farmers on railway tracks have resulted in the disruption of transportation for industries. Furthermore, blockades on roadways by the government and the administration have further escalated the struggles of the people of Punjab. This is all being caused due to the steps taken by the central government, causing troubles for the residents of Punjab as a whole.” Assuring stakeholders of the Congress's commitment, the PPCC Chief asserted, "Upon assuming power, the Congress will prioritize addressing these issues. As the opposition, we remain steadfast in advocating for the interests of our industries and farmers alike. The ongoing farmers' agitation is not merely a localized concern; it resonates nationally. The repeal of the draconian farm laws is imperative, given the genuine grievances of our farmers." Moreover, concerns regarding deteriorating law and order were raised by traders, citing instances of targeted crimes against traders and industrialists. Warring emphasized the urgent need for solutions from the AAP Punjab administration to restore confidence and stability within the business community. The PPCC Chief urged for collective action, emphasizing the interconnectedness of Punjab's agricultural and industrial sectors. Calling for dialogue between Jagjit Singh Dallewal ji and Swarn Singh Pandher ji and stakeholders, including farmers and industrialists, he stressed the necessity of finding holistic solutions to alleviate the state's hardships. He concluded with the following assertion: "This represents the strategic intent of the BJP-led government. Their objective appears to be the destabilization of the ongoing farmers' protest and the deliberate hindrance of Punjab's industrial growth, thus fostering a decline in the state's overall prosperity. It is evident that the government seeks to perpetuate these challenges to undermine the momentum of our protests and suppress our collective voice. However, it is imperative that we, as stakeholders in Punjab's progress, unite to find inclusive and enduring solutions. I pledge my commitment to facilitating such resolutions for the betterment of our state. Bathinda: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal today said Delhi based parties were trying to capture Punjab in the same manner as done by the East India Company and urged them to vote for the SAD to ensure peace and communal harmony as well as development in the State. The SAD president, who interacted with members of the District Bar Association and Taxation lawyers at the bar association in the mini secretariat and Court complex, respectively, besides holding meetings with the Northern Cooler and Fan manufacturing association, hotels and restaurant association and members of the Christian community, said “this is a most sensitive point in the history of Punjab. It is of utmost importance that Punjabis get together to save Punjab from Delhi based parties who are only concerned about winning seats and least concerned about Punjabis or their problems. Punjab has suffered earlier also at the hands of national parties, but this time the situation is grave. Punjab is not only afflicted by a breakdown of law and order as well as communal tensions, but has been bankrupted by successive Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) governments. The situation is such that each and every section of society is suffering be it farmers, youth, poor or traders”. Urging Punjabis to “save Punjab now before it is too late”, Mr Sukhbir Badal said “the SAD is the only answer to the ills afflicting Punjab”, adding “only a regional party can fight for your rights and keep you first”. In a blistering attack on the AAP-Congress alliance in the State, Mr Badal said “the AAP and Congress are aligned in Punjab also like in the rest of the country. Only here they have not gone into an open alliance as they feel by doing so the anti-incumbency of the AAP government will affect both their chances”. Mr Badal urged Punjabis to understand this and reject both the parties at the hustings. When queried by newsmen, Mr Badal said the manner in which the SAD was gaining in strength day upon day as well as the virtual close down of the election campaign of the Delhi based parties proved that people understood that the SAD alone could fulfill their aspirations. “The forthcoming parliamentary polls will witness a historic verdict which will wipe out all the national parties in Punjab”, Mr Badal added. Earlier during his interaction with members of the District Bar Association, Mr Badal highlighted how the erstwhile SAD government led by S Parkash Singh Badal had established judicial complexes and advocate chambers across the State. He also spoke about the manner in which all communities, including the Christian community, were taken along in the path to progress during the previous SAD government. Members of the Christian community also lauded the SAD as a beacon for communal harmony while appreciating the firm stand taken by the SAD president by strongly castigated attempts to polarize votes through communal speeches. Senior SAD leaders who accompanied Mr Badal included Iqbal Singh Babli Dhillon, Mohit Gupta, Baljit Singh Birbehman, Rajwinder Singh and Sunny Brar.

चंडीगढ़: पंजाब पुलिस की एंटी गैंगस्टर टास्क फोर्स (एजीटीएफ) ने केंद्रीय एजेंसियों और जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस के साथ साझे ऑपरेशन के दौरान बड़ी सफलता हासिल करते हुए पंजाब और जम्मू-कश्मीर के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में  48  घंटों तक चले ऑपरेशन के दौरान गैंगस्टर चरनजीत सिंह उर्फ राजू शूटर जोकि सिविल अस्पताल तरनतारन से फऱार हो गया था, और उसके  10  गुर्गों को गिरफ़्तार किया है। यह जानकारी आज यहाँ डायरैक्टर जनरल ऑफ पुलिस (डीजीपी) पंजाब गौरव यादव ने दी। पुलिस टीमों ने उनके पास से डबल बैरल राइफल, जो  28  फरवरी,  2024 को तरनतारन स्थित मीत गन हाऊस से चोरी हो गई थी, और तीन पिस्तौलों समेत  26  जिंदा कारतूस बरामद किए हैं। गिरफ़्तार किए गए बाकी  10 व्यक्तियों की पहचान हुसनप्रीत सिंह उर्फ हुसन निवासी गाँव पिधी, तरनतारन; गुलाब सिंह उर्फ गुलाब निवासी गाँव बछड़े, तरनतारन; अमृतपाल सिंह उर्फ चिड़ी निवासी मुहल्ला जसवंत सिंह, तरनतारन; बलजिन्दर सिंह उर्फ लोका निवासी गाँव लोका; बॉबी निवासी अजनाला; लवप्रीत सिंह उर्फ लव, अमृतपाल सिंह उर्फ सन्दीप सिंह और सज्जन उर्फ कालू दिनों निवासी गाँव ठ_ियां महंतां, तरनतारन; सुखचैन सिंह उर्फ मौगली और हरमेश सिंह उर्फ चीचू दोनों निवासी श्री पिंड वडिया, श्री मुक्तसर साहिब के रूप में हुई है। जानकारी के मुताबिक गैंगस्टर राजू शूटर माझा क्षेत्र में मुख्य तौर  पर तरनतारन, अमृतसर और अमृतसर ग्रामीण समेत जिलों में सक्रिय एक संगठित अपराधी गिरोह का सरगना है। गिरफ़्तार किए गए सभी मुलजिम इरादत्न कत्ल, डकैती, नशा तस्करी समेत आपराधिक गतिविधियों में शामिल थे। बताने योग्य है कि सितम्बर  2023  में इस गिरोह द्वारा गाँव ढोटियां, तरनतारन में बैंक को लूटने की असफल कोशिश की गई थी, जिसमें मुलजिमों द्वारा गोलीबारी के दौरान एक पुलिस कर्मचारी गंभीर रूप में जख़़्मी हो गया था। 16  अप्रैल , 2024  को राजू शूटर के साथी सिविल अस्पताल तरनतारन जहाँ उसका इलाज चल रहा था, से उसे फऱार करके ले गए थे। डीजीपी गौरव यादव ने बताया कि भरोसेमन्द सूचना पर कार्यवाही करते हुए एडीजीपी प्रमोद बान के नेतृत्व वाली एजीटीएफ पंजाब ने गैंगस्टर राजू शूटर और उसके गुर्गों का पता लगाने के लिए एआईजी सन्दीप गोयल की निगरानी अधीन  12  पुलिस टीमें गठित कीं। डीएसपी राजन परमिन्दर, डीएसपी बिक्रमजीत सिंह बराड़, डीएसपी हरमिन्दर सिंह और डीएसपी जसपाल सिंह भी इस कार्यवाही में शामिल थे। डीजीपी ने जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस और केंद्रीय एजेंसियों द्वारा इस ऑपरेशन को पूरा करने में भरपूर सहयोग देने के लिए उनका धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि  48  घंटे से अधिक समय तक चले ऑपरेशन, जिसमें सूझ-समझ के साथ ख़ुफिय़ा जानकारी एकत्र करने, तकनीकी विश्लेषण और तुरंत कार्यवाही शामिल थी, इस दौरान पंजाब और जम्मू-कश्मीर के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से गैंगस्टर राजू शूटर और उसके 10  गुर्गों को गिरफ़्तार किया गया। अधिक विवरण देते हुए एआईजी सन्दीप गोयल ने बताया कि प्राथमिक जांच से पता लगा है कि राजू शूटर के छह गुर्गों ने उसे अस्पताल से भागने में मदद की थी। उन्होंने बताया कि राजू शूटर को अस्पताल से भागने में मदद करने वाले छह मुलजिमों में से पुलिस ने तीन मुलजिमों गुलाब सिंह, हुसनप्रीत सिंह और अमृतपाल सिंह उर्फ चिड़ी को गिरफ़्तार कर लिया है, जबकि बाकी तीन सहायकों को गिरफ़्तार करने के लिए छापेमारी की जा रही है।
